Description: Gold Bluffs Beach campground is one of my all time favorite national park campgrounds. It has a breathtaking location right on the beach and gives campers that wonderful experience of being lulled to sleep by the sound of the Pacific ocean.
The campground is located just down the road from the world-famous Fern Canyon.
For more camping information visit the NPS Camping page.
Fern Canyon (Next to Gold Bluffs Beach)
Just down the road from Gold Bluffs Beach is Fern Canyon, one of the most incredible sites in all of Redwood National Park. While there are no redwoods in here (that I know) there is breathtaking scenery.
Ferns coat either side of this lush canyon and a creek runs through the middle. This location has been used in many films including Jurassic Park and Almost Heroes.

Nearby Attractions
Gold Bluffs Beach is located near Fern Canyon which is a must-see. On your way in or out be sure to stop by the very popular Lady Bird Johnson Grove, Redwood Creek Overlook, & the little-visited Bald Hills.
